The Gulf War included attacks by Tomahawk cruise missiles, F-117A Stealth fighter-bombers and F-4G Wild Weasels, used to attack ground radar defenses. This allowed the use of F-14, F-15, F-16 and F-18 fighter bombers to drop TV- and laser-guided bombs. The A-10 Thunderbolt provided support for ground troops. The AH-64 Apache and AH-1 Cobra helicopters saw action, along with E-3A AWACS and a fleet of B-52Gs.
